OBJECTIVES

To promote and work
for the protection and observance of human and minority rights as
stipulated in the United Nations instruments.

To advance human
rights education.

To participate in
alleviating poverty.

To provide help to
refugees and immigrants.

To promote and
enhance the principles of peace and co-existence among national,
religious, ethnic, racial and cultural groups and communities.
CEOHR’S PROGRAMS
Our objectives are translated into the following plans and
programs:

Human Rights Support and Education:
through publications,
building a library and offering educational scholarships in the fields
of cultures and human rights.

Refugee and Immigrants Support: by providing
assistance to refugee claimants and new immigrants to
Canada.

Poverty Alleviation: through small community
development projects, particularly in areas of education and employment.
-
Community Cultural Center: to build social bridges and participate
in enriching our society.
